Creating a project

A project is the central unit of work in AxisPace. It holds a timeline, milestones, tasks, and a real-time Pace indicator.

Create the project (Draft)

Go to your Organization → Projects → New Project. Enter a name, description, and select the team that will work on it.

Plan your project (Planning)

Add milestones and tasks. Set start and end dates. AxisPace shows a Pace projection so you can verify the plan is realistic before you commit.

Start the project (Active)

Click Start Project. From this point the Pace indicator goes live and tracks real progress against your plan in real-time.

Work, adjust, and complete

Move tasks between milestones by drag and drop. Update statuses, reassign work, and adjust priorities — Pace recalculates automatically with every change.
